Kenneth D. Motichka

Ken MotichkaKen is the Supervising Case Manager for the Northeastern Pennsylvania Elder Law Firm of Colbert & Grebas. In addition to working with clients to protect their assets from the cost of long term care, Ken supervises the firm’s other case managers.

He is a life-long resident of Lackawanna County. Over the past thirteen years Ken has worked within the senior care industry as both an admissions director at a personal care home and as a community/patient relations specialist with home health and hospice organizations. Ken attended The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned degrees in Health Policy & Administration, Gerontology and Business.

He has been an active volunteer with the firefighters for over twenty years and has held numerous line and administrative officer positions. In his free time he enjoys doing outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and two children. He is also an active member of the NEPA Aging Network Alliance, Lackawanna Interagency Council and Luzerne County Senior Networking Alliance.

Denise Sterenchock

Denise SterenchockDenise is a Case Manager for the Northeastern Pennsylvania Elder Law Firm of Colbert & Grebas.

After receiving her Paralegal Certificate from Penn State University, Hazleton Campus, she spent the last 12 years working in a small law firm assisting clients with business formation, estate planning and real estate matters.

Denise truly enjoys meeting clients and their families finding common connections to ensure they feel welcome and comfortable. She works diligently to meet our clients’ needs and is available to answer any questions and discuss planning recommendations.

Denise enjoys vacationing at the beach, reading, and spending time with her family, preferably all at the same time. She and her husband, who recently became empty nesters, live in Sugarloaf Township in Lower Luzerne County.

Dawn Edwards

Dawn EdwardsColbert & Grebas welcomes Dawn Edwards as a Case Manager in our Moosic Office. As a former Coordinator with PA LINK to Aging and Disability Resources, Dawn brings over 8 years of experience working with Seniors to her new position with our firm. She first became a coordinator for PA LINK in Adams and York counties prior to her moving to NEPA where she continued covering the four counties of Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wyoming and Carbon. It was her experience with PA LINK, along with her 5 years of experience working with students with disabilities that made her aware of the need for individuals to be informed and advised in the areas of estate management and planning to protect their future and loved ones.

Dawn serves as Secretary for the Ladies Auxiliary of Post 781, American Legion, Mountain Top. She became a member of the American Legion’s Lady Auxiliary after both her stepson and son enlisted in the USMC in 2007 and 2008. In addition, Dawn is the Treasurer for the White Haven Chamber of Commerce and is happy to be a part of a community that cares about the local commerce by encouraging current businesses to grow and to have new businesses established in White Haven and surrounding areas.

Dawn looks forward to working with Colbert & Grebas, P.C. as a Case Manager and being part of a team of professionals who truly care about their clients and their families.

Brandi Ide-MacLunny

Brandi Ide-MacLunnyBrandi is a Long Term Care Planning Case Manager for the Elder Law Firm of Colbert & Grebas. She earned an Associate Degree in Business with Applied Sciences from Lackawanna College. She has many years of experience working in the business office of several nursing homes and is extremely knowledgeable in the area of Medicaid and Long Term Care Planning.

Brandi enjoys working with her senior clients and their families to help them through the process of qualifying for governmental benefits such as Medicaid. She always has a smile on her face and is available to answer any questions clients may have during the planning process.

Brandi was born and raised in Luzerne County and still resides there with her husband and two sons. She is actively involved with her sons’ sports teams and attends practices and games. She enjoys cooking, music and beach camping, and has spent many happy times camping at the seashore with her family.
